After being hosted by the wonderful Mathil and her friend Thea, I had to leave Ittenbach. It was a remarkable time. Seeing what a tree kan do, joining people who havn´t seen each other for 61 years and than they did, because TREE of MEMORY brought them together again, is for sure a lifetime experience. Greetings at this point to Rita and Roland who made everything possible. Thanks a lot. So, all of it I have to leave in the morning at 10 and about 10 minutes later, Hike arrived. Togther we hiked to Bonn. Hike joined me after hearing my story 4 weeks ago and we planed the 3 days hike since weeks. It will be very interesting for me, as it is the first time, that I will walk with somebody, which is a big difference. But now in the evening I can tell, that it is a very nice experience and we do good together. We arrived after a very sunny day. One of the highlights of this day was: standing on top of the mountain and to discover that the next 200 km are without any mountains or hills. What a future... I love it :-) .... In the evening Bonn celebrated the festival Rhine in flames... firewerks over the river. But at the end we have been to tired to join it.
